Tools and Teaching Strategies for Vocabulary Assessment and Instruction: A Review

Vocabulary is a complex intermediate component between oral and written language, which the influence on associated skills general language abilities (e.g., decoding processing, comprehension) has been largely studied in children, suggesting its important role literacy. The main aim of this article to review some questions vocabulary assessment stimulation children identify advantage new technologies for evaluating training vocabulary. It seems necessary give importance literacy development, heterogeneity acquisition, depending preschool word exposure familial environment). After state-of-the-art conceptualization vocabulary's notion, we revisit assumptions instruction indicating existing tools. This lies attempt enhance perspectives valid effective tools using digital technologies.
